Dr. Yusuf Mugaloglu is the Chief Executive Officer of New York Turbine Solutions LLC, an independent gas turbine sourcing and procurement company serving utilities, independent power producers (IPPs), data center developers, industrial clients, and infrastructure investors worldwide.
With more than two decades of experience spanning the energy, finance, and infrastructure sectors, Dr. Mugaloglu has built his career around originating, structuring, and executing cross-border energy transactions. He brings together equipment owners, developers, engineering firms, financial institutions, investors, and strategic partners to transform opportunities into commercially viable power generation projects. By integrating technical, commercial, financial, and regulatory perspectives, he helps clients reduce procurement risk, accelerate project execution, and secure reliable power generation assets.
Dr. Mugaloglu also founded New York Sustainable Energy LLC, where he advises clients on strategic energy investments and infrastructure development. His experience spans conventional and renewable power generation, battery energy storage systems (BESS), project finance, and international business. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with public and private sector stakeholders across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
As Chief Executive Officer of New York Turbine Solutions, Dr. Mugaloglu leads the company's strategic direction, global sourcing activities, and commercial partnerships. Under his leadership, NYTS leverages an international network of equipment owners, suppliers, and established industry partners to help clients identify, evaluate, negotiate, and procure power generation assets that meet their technical, commercial, and delivery requirements.
Dr. Mugaloglu holds a PhD in Economics and an MSc in Development Finance. Combined with his experience in capital markets, project finance, and international business, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to complex energy transactions. He believes successful energy projects are built through disciplined execution, sound commercial judgment, and long-term partnerships that create lasting value for clients and stakeholders.
